I think sometimes it's easier for us to go to church, sing a song, give some money, and then go along on our merry way without another thought of Christ. Our minds are at ease because we did a few good things. I'm definitely guilty of this.

Jesus didn't give us the gift of salvation and righteousness in Gods eyes so that we could give him parts of our lives when it's suitable for us.
